Last Day at Work

:( was my last day today, kinda very sad really, it was so odd, to walk out, with no keys, and a clean desk, nothing pending left to do, and a weird sense of loss. I really loved the job., however I really hope the new worker finds it as wonderful as I did, but I will miss the girls SOO much!

Family nights at home

When my darling partner offered the choice of a night at local watering hole, or a family BBQ down the back, complete with a 'camp' fire, music solely of our own choice, and the ability to keep the kids with us, and have some fun , what else could I pick? We stayed at home, and wasnt it fab?!



We let the dogs loose, let the bird out, turned on some good tunes (everything from Lady Gaga to Alan Jackson and few in between!), pulled the plastic lawn chairs up to the fire, and sat around singing and yarnin' til the tucker cooked. I have discovered that though I may not have the best singing voice, when everyone starts singing around the camp fire, it doesnt matter at all!



We finished off the night with a bag of yummy pink and white marshmallows toasted by the fire, however with two little girls, mum and dad barely got a look in! What a great night!

Final day at work

Well tomorrow, friday 23-7-10 is my final day at work, what an experience! I have worked with 2 phenominal ladies, real powerhouses, bursting at the seams with fab ideas, and tons of energy! I will really miss them and the constant 'brain explosions' that threatened to overwhelm the office space. Somehow I think I will be popping in regularly to share some ideas, and see what they are up to!
